All Children's Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine Joins Pasco EDC Board

Pasco County, Florida -- The Pasco Economic Development Council, Inc. is pleased to welcome its newest board member, All Children's Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine.  It will be represented by Mr. Jay Kuhns, Vice President of Human Resources.

“All Children’s Hospital has been looking forward to an active role on Pasco EDC’s board of directors,” Kuhns said.  “Pasco County continues to grow at a rapid pace, and we are excited to work with other business and community leaders to make Pasco a better place for both families and employers.”

No stranger to Pasco, All Children's Hospital operates a 20,000 square foot outpatient care facility on Rowan Road in New Port Richey. The facility provides quality medical and therapeutic services in a convenient setting. All physicians, nurses and other professionals who work at All Children's Outpatient Care are extensively trained to meet the special needs of children of all ages.

Kuhns has served as the Vice President of Human Resources for All Children's Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine since 2008. Prior to joining All Children’s, Kuhns spent seven years with HCA in the Tampa Bay area. He currently resides in New Port Richey with his wife and family.

“We are thrilled that All Children’s Hospital wants to make a difference here in Pasco,” said Trey Starkey, Pasco EDC Board Chair.  “Pasco is working hard to become the premier county in Florida. The future of Tampa Bay’s growth is in Pasco, so regional businesses and organizations have a serious stake in our community’s success.”

The Pasco EDC Board of Directors governs the organization and leads the execution of its economic development strategy.  The Pasco EDC governance structure enables private and public sector leaders to collectively leverage knowledge, passion, influence and relationships to create a sustainable and diversified economy in Pasco County.

“We all have a vested interest in our community’s economic development,” John Hagen, Pasco EDC President/CEO. “When each business can achieve its economic potential and every person who wants a job can have one, everyone in the community benefits.  All Children's Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine sees this connection, to its credit, and promises to be an outstanding member.”
