Land O'Lakes, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is inviting the public to the meeting of the Pasco Alliance of Community Associations (PACA) on Feb. 9 to learn how communities can safeguard their neighborhoods.

The meeting will cover how to establish a Neighborhood Watch and crime patrol program in Pasco communities. Deputy Ronald Buzzetto of the Pasco Sheriff's Office's Citizens Support Unit will be on hand to speak and answer questions.

Deputy Buzzetto has been in Florida law enforcement since 1994. He spent 5 years as a Detention Deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office before coming to the Pasco Sheriff's Office in 1999. Since then, he's worked mostly in patrol.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and be held at the Land O'Lakes Community Center, at 5401 Land O'Lakes Blvd., three miles north of SR 54.

The alliance is a not-for-profit organization whose members include 70 of Pasco County’s homeowner associations, community development districts and condominium associations. It assists members by educating them on common issues and finding solutions to shared problems. It also represents the interests of members before all levels of government.

For membership information, contact vice president/membership director David Quinones at (813) 991-1505 or visit www.MyPACA.org. To suggest topics or speakers for monthly meetings, share your ideas with program director Wayne Mooney at (352) 467-9808.
