Officers will star on episode of "Snapped" | Crime
New Port Richey, Florida -- Several major crimes detectives from the Pasco Sheriff's Office will be featured in a nationally syndicated television show on Sunday, March 10.
The show will be part of an expansion of the television series, "Snapped."
The show is produced by Oxygen Media and expands its true crime original programming with the new series "Snapped: Killer Couples."
The series features couples whose actions drives them to commit terrible criminal acts using dramatic recreations and firsthand accounts. Each episode looks into the stories behind the couples' romance, their relationship and what drove them to commit the crime.
The premiere episode features housewife turned adult film star Amanda Logue and her boyfriend, fellow actor Jason Andrews. The two were indicted in Pasco County for the murder of Dennis "Scooter" Abrahamsen.
The Pasco detectives will appear on the tv show, "Snapped, Killer Couples,"premiering on Sunday March 10 at 10 p.m. Eastern time. Major Crimes Detectives William Lindsey, James Gariepy, Daniel Toner and their supervisor, Sergeant James Sessa are expected to appear.
