Drunk woman holds up drive-thru lane, demands free food

New Port Richey, Florida -- An intoxicated woman with no sense of time was arrested Sunday morning after she refused to leave a McDonald's drive-thru and demanded free food.

Pasco Sheriff's deputies say 34-year-old Kimberly Womack pulled into the drive-thru in the 7200 block of SR 54 around 6:03 a.m. and demanded they give her two free Big Macs because she was unsatisfied with the ones she had last time she was there. 

When they told her they didn't have Big Macs because they were only serving breakfast, she then demanded they give her two free Egg McMuffins instead.

Police: Woman ties child to urine soaked bed

Land O' Lakes, Florida -- A Land O' Lakes woman was arrested for child abuse after police say she tied her 3-year-old child to his bed as a form of discipline.

Pasco Sheriff's deputies say they were alerted to the incident by Amanda Greenwood's girlfriend who found the child tied to the bed by his ankle for so long he urinated in his pants and onto the bed. 

The woman told police when she confronted Greenwood about it, she denied doing it. When her girlfriend found the child again, later, tied down by a scarf across his chest, Greenwood then admitted to it.

Fugitive comments on his own Facebook wanted picture

New Port Richey, Florida -- A New Port Richey man who saw his wanted picture on a Pasco County Sheriff's Office "Fugitive of the Day" Facebook post Wednesday morning decided to defend his innocence on the post through a series of comments.

Police: Man chokes pregnant girlfriend, threatens deputy's life

New Port Richey, Florida -- A man arrested Tuesday remains in jail on a high bond after he attacked his pregnant girlfriend and threatened the responding deputy's life.

The responding Pasco Sheriff's deputy reported when he arrived at the scene of a fight outside a home on Trichel Lane he witnessed Douglas Horace hit his pregnant girlfriend as someone else tried to intervene.

When Horace saw the deputy, he ran into the home and came back out with a portion of a wooden pool stick. After several commands by the deputy for Horace to drop the stick, he did and was handcuffed.

Man gets 19 years for armed drug trafficking

Dade City, Florida -- A Dade City man was sentenced Wednesday to 19 years in federal prison on drug trafficking charges.

The State Attorney's Office says court documents revealed on Sept. 20, during a search of 34-year-old Angel Martinez's home, investigators found 29 grams of methamphetamine and three firearms. In a shed next to his house, they also found more than 250 grams of meth, two handguns, numerous rounds of ammo and five digital scales.

Martinez pleaded guilty to the charges on April 19, 2013.

Man accused of sexually battering sleeping woman

New Port Richey, Florida -- A woman woke up to a family acquaintance laying on top her having sex with her, police say.

The unidentified victim said when she woke up she tried to push 21-year-old Marcus Granados off of her but he pushed her back onto the bed by her shoulders and said, "Let me finish," according to the police report.

She was then able to free herself and call police. She told them at no time did she consent to having sex with him.

Woman arrested over severely malnourished dog

Holiday, Florida -- A 31-year-old woman was arrested in a sad case of animal cruelty where deputies say the dog was so malnourished it could barely stand.

When Pasco Sheriff's deputies questioned Tiffany Pollock about the state the dog was in, she initially told them she had given the dog to a friend and got her back that way. Pollock's ex-boyfriend told deputies the dog was that way because they couldn't afford to feed it. Pollock eventually admitted she had the dog in her possession the entire time.
