New Port Richey, Florida – Pasco County continues to gather information and assist residents who were affected by Tropical Storm Debby.

The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) located at 4444 Grand Avenue (Corner of Grand and Trouble Creek Road), New Port Richey continues to assist residents and is operating every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Starting this Sunday, July 22, the DRC hours will be noon to 6 p.m.

The DRC is a one-stop shop of multiple agencies where residents can get answers to questions about specific programs and assistance. State and FEMA officials will be on hand to explain the systems and paperwork needed to file for assistance.

Impacted residents who have been staying with friends or relatives because their homes were damaged or destroyed by Tropical Storm Debby may qualify for temporary rental assistance, according to FEMA officials. Please visit the DRC if you have questions or call FEMA at (800) 621-FEMA (3362) with filing claims.

The County’s Resident Information Center (RIC) is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you have questions please call the RIC information line at (727) 847-8959.
