Dade City, Florida - Grease the chain, lace up your shoes, the Race for Humanity - Road Race/Criterium are taking place this weekend in San Antonio and Dade City.

The 5th Annual San Antonio Road Race is set for Saturday. The course is a 17 mile "Florida Hilly Loop" and one of the best courses in the state.  Start times range from 9:00 am  to 1:30 pm, based on your skill level.  Courses range from 34 to 68 miles, again based on skill level.

The 12th Annual Dade City Criterium is set for Sunday.  Start times for this one range from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and run from 30 to 70 minutes.  The race will be held on the famous .7 mile 6 turn course with fun bricks.  Expect road closures and traffic congestion around downtown Dade City.

A few notes from organizers:

  • Races will be held rain or shine.
  • Compete in a second (less expensive race) each day for only $20
  • Promoter may cancel race or reduce Prize money if minimum fields are not met.
  • Held under USAC Permit pending / All USAC Rules apply
  • One-Day licenses will be available for $10 for Cat 5 men including and Cat 4 women only
  • Registration opens at 9 am Saturday, 8 am Sunday
  • AMB Chips will be used for all races- Weekend rentals available for $10
