Panhandling may be over in Pasco | News
Pasco County, FL -- The Pasco County Commission agreed to move forward with a panhandling ordinance for the county last week that could bring an end to roadside begging.
If passed, the ordinance would ban any type of panhandling in the county but would allow Sunday newspaper solicitation.
County officials are holding a public hearing next month prior to the final adoption of the ordinance.
The hearing will take place on July 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the West Pasco Government Center in New Port Richey.
