Pasco County, Florida -- Come learn about the history of Florida cattle ranching at the West Pasco Historical Society.

Guest Speaker Robert Stone, curator of the Florida Cattlemen's Association, will give a presentation on "500 Years of Florida Cattle Ranching." The presentation will cover from early Florida Indians to today's modern ranchers, covering Florida's famous cattle ranching that has an exciting history that rivals that of the Old West.

The purpose of this visit was to share information on how to enhance customer service, animal behavior through enrichment, and discuss best practices for sheltering.

Pasco County, Florida -- Pasco County has invited the Urban Land Institute back tohelp evaluate changes implemented from the 2008 Panel visit, and to look at"What's Next" in the upcoming years.

Pasco County requested the return of theULI Panel to assist evaluating performance from the 2008 Panel recommendationsand to help guide Pasco with "What's Next" as we implement the Board of CountyCommissioner's vision outlined in the Strategic Plan and in the EconomicDevelopment Plan.
