Dade City, Florida - Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco attended the dedication of the new Dade Oaks Playground on September 14 at 9 a.m.

St. Leo University donated over $12,000 to the Dade Oaks Housing Development to purchase equipment for the community.

The address of the new playground is 37460 Acorn Loop in Dade City.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office, through their Officer Friendly program, say they continue to build positive relationships with the underprivileged children in the Dade Oaks Community.

Pasco Sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin says during the past few months,  Corporal Mary Guyer has coordinated an Easter Egg hunt, refurbished the Dade Oaks Community Center and held a zoo camp for the community's youth.
