Cotee River Lions hosts all-you-can-eat breakfast

New Port Richey, Florida - The Cotee River Lions Charities, Inc. invites the general public to attend the monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast on Sunday, Feb. 3.

The breakfast, which runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., will consist of pancakes, eggs, sausage, home fries, grits, toast, coffee, tea and orange juice.

Donation for the breakfast is $5.

The location is 8320 Plathe Road in New Port Richey.

New Port Richey, Florida -- If you are interested in helping local youngsters and having fun for a good cause, this event is for you!

Seven Springs Middle School is hosting a fundraiser.

The event be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at All Sports Arena located at 7716 Rutillio Court.

There will be a 22-foot dual slide, obstacle course, jumpy, sports, and games with prizes.

The event is $10 per person.

Fine Arts of the Suncoast to give over $10K to Pasco schools

Wesley Chapel, Florida -- On Saturday, Jan. 19, the board of the Fine Arts of the Suncoast, Inc. will present eleven art educators from Pasco Schools grant awards to supplement funding for their schools’ art programs.

In addition, more than 20 elementary, middle, and high schools will receive grant awards. These grants are the result of Art for Kids in which the Suncoast Arts Fest raises funds each year to supplement funding for Pasco art educators and schools to promote the arts and culture for Pasco students.

Foundation donates WWE John Cena-themed wheelchair to student

Dade City, Florida -- WWE Wrestling Star John Cena was on hand to help present a custom wheelchair to a local 9-year-old boy at his Dade City school Tuesday.

The WWE John Cena-themed custom powered wheelchair was donated to Gary Patterson at his school, Centennial Elementary, by the Darrell Gwynn Foundation's Wheelchair Donation Program. The foundation's mission is to provide support for people with paralysis and prevent spinal cord injury.

New Port Richey, Florida -- If you're looking to brush up on your life-saving skills, here's your chance. You could make a big difference in someone's life by learning these valuable skills and tips.

The CPR class starts on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. The class is being held at Rasmussen College located at 7660 Little Road in New Port Richey.

Registration is required. The class goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $50.
