An invitation is going out for people to attend the Fun2Drum Circle.

Rain or shine, organizers say, it is always comfortable and even air-conditioned.

Bring yourself, a smile, a friend, and come as you are. They have drums to share, but suggest if you have one, bring it!

Solar system art exhibit on display in Pasco County

Land O' Lakes, Florida -- Artist Gordon Engebretson, from Land O' Lakes, has been working hard to create a Pasco County exhibit that will have you seeing stars!

The exhibit, called From the Sun to Pluto, is a one-mile scaled model of the solar system. In addition to being visual and artistic, you can hear a lot from the fun facts compiled by Michelle Cordeiro.

Investigation Station is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony that will take place on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m. on the Starkey Park bicycle path, nearest to Shelter 5.

It's a free writer's workshop at the New Port Richey Public Library.

Night in the Tropics is the hottest night in town with all kinds of Island fun.

The event is taking place on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. at Greater NPR Main Street at 6231 Grand Blvd. in New Port Richey. The event runs until 11 p.m.

The Caribbean style event features live music on two stages. The sounds of Reggae, Cuban Swing and Summer Beach will be heard in various spots downtown.

The play starts at 7 p.m. in New Port Richey at 4610 Floramar Terrace.

It is a play about two women who meet in the crossroads of their lives.

The cost is $15 and is appropriate for moms, dads, college students and seniors.
