Pasco County, Florida -- A new firearms and related accessories company is coming to Pasco County and is bringing 29 jobs with them.

According to the Pasco Economic Development Council, on Tuesday, March 6, the Pasco County BOCC agreed to 20 percent of the annual tax refund and adopted a resolution to approve Adams Arms, Inc. as a qualified applicant to Florida's Qualified Target Industry (QTI) tax refund program.

The company is looking at several facilities in the area. The new jobs will offer an average wage of $50,000.

“This is great news! We’re excited to work with a company that can bring highly skilled, higher paying jobs to Pasco County with Adams Arms,” said John Hagen, President/CEO of Pasco Economic Development Council. “This project will reduce regional commuting and contribute to the overall economic welfare of the area.”

Adams Arms, Inc. builds firearms and related accessories for the AR15 / M-16 Rifle Platform utilizing its patented Piston Systems that provide law enforcement and private citizens with a reliable and high performing product and a wide assortment of options to upgrade rifles already in the marketplace.
