Rep. Bilirakis to host Employment Fair Tuesday

New Port Richey, Florida -- In effort to help job seekers and employers, Rep. Gus Bilirakis is hosting an Employment Fair on Tuesday, May 22.

Bilirakis' camp says to date, 40 employers will be in attendance offering a range of opportunities including the FBO, Bright House Networks, Pasco County, the nation's military branches and many more. For a full list of confirmed employers, click here.

The fair will be held at Spartan Manor, located at 6121 Massachusettes Avenue in New Port Richey, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Gulf View Square Mall welcomes new retailers

Port Richey, Florida -- Gulf View Square Mall has announced that Crown Diamond Jewelers is now a part of their retail stores.

The jewelry retailer opened its doors on May 1. The 1,148 square foot store can be found inside the North Entrance, next to Lenscrafters.

Spencer's Gifts is also expanding and relocating right now at the mall. Slated to open in its new location on June 1, the store will offer shoppers entertainment, excitement and fun in a larger space.

Dade City switches off transportation fees, turns on green light for business

Dade City, Florida -- The Dade City Commission voted on April 26 to suspend Transportation Impact Fees (TIF) for a period of two years, according to the Pasco Economic Development Council.

This TIF suspension is part of a new aggressive city effort with the Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce and the Dade City Main Street organization to encourage job creation and economic development.
