New Port Richey, Florida -- Old Time Pottery has announced the opening of its newest store in New Port Richey on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 8 a.m. 

This will be the second Old Time Pottery location in the Tampa Bay area and is bringing 75 new jobs to the New Port Richey area.

New Port Richey, Florida -- Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-Palm Harbor), is hosting another Employment Fair on Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., at Spartan Manor in New Port Richey.

“While we must continue to work to create a stable economic environment which facilitates growth, I host these regular employment fairs as a means of putting those seeking work in touch with employers in the Tampa Bay area,” Bilirakis said in a release.

Spartan Manor is located at 6121 Massachusetts Avenue in New Port Richey.

Pasco County, Florida -- The Pasco County EDC announced CenterState Bank has made an additional donation of $5,000 through its Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program to support the the council's microloan fund to help small business growth in Pasco County.

Pasco County, Florida -- Pasco County's first mirco-brewer, Big Storm Brewery, received a green light from Pasco County Commissioners July 24.

Big Storm Brewery, started by long time friends Clay Yarn and Mike Bishop, was founded in 2011 in Pasco County.

"It's been crazy since we opened," said Mike Bishop, co-founder and head brewer at Big Storm Brewery in a release. "Restaurants can't seem to keep it in stock, and we're brewing as fast as we can, hoping we don't run out!"
