"Ask A Lawyer" during Law Week

New Port Richey, Florida -- Members of the the West Pasco Bar Association will once again present its annual Law Week that begins on Monday, April 29

Declan Mansfield, Esq., a member of the association, is heading up the “Ask A Lawyer” program that takes place during Law Week on Wednesday, May 1. Sign-ups are available at two locations with time slots beginning at 9 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.

New Port Richey -- The Pasco County Sheriff''s Office will be offering a town hall style forum to the residents of Holiday on Tuesday, April 23. 

Sheriff Nocco will be in attendance along with members of the command staff to personally address questions and concerns Holiday residents might have about crime in their communities.

Arts in Motion Theatre prepares for "Beauty and the Beast"

Pasco County, Florida -- Arts in Motion Community Youth Theatre & Art Education, Inc., also known as AIM is currently in rehearsals for their spring production of “Beauty and the Beast”.

This production features over 40 children in grades K-12.  “Beauty and the Beast” is open to the public and will be presented at inside the auditorium in Dade City, FL the weekend of May 3rd, 4 and 5th with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday and evening performances at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

New Port Richey, Florida -- The Cotee River Lions Club invites the general public to recycle their newspapers, magazines, catalogs, office paper and shredded paper at the Cotee River Lions Handicapped and Braille Trail Park.

It is located at 8320 Plathe Road in New Port Richey. It is North of Trouble Creek Road and South of Massachusetts Avenue between Rowan and Little Roads.

Recycling is held every Sunday morning between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon. 

The next event is Sunday, April 14.

Autism Awareness in Land O'Lakes

Land O'Lakes, Florida -- Longleaf Elementary School is hosting an Autism Awareness Walk to raise money for a sensory integration room.  

A multi-sensory room is a special room designed to develop a child’s sense, usually through special lighting, music, and objects. It will be used as a therapy for children with limited communication skills, behavioral issues, and sensory deficits in the school’s autism program, as well as for students who need a calm environment to de-stress.

Pinellas County, Florida -- SMARTstart is the name unveiled by the Pasco Economic Development Council for the new business incubator in Dade City. It was unveiled on Tuesday, April 9th at Dade City’s City Commission meeting. The new logo was received with overwhelmingly positive feedback from council members and other community partners.
