Pasco County, Florida -- Jim Cook invites the public to share in his passion once again by hosting the third annual family-friendly “Cook’s Antique & Classic Car Museum Tour” on Sunday, September 22.

The open house will benefit the Foundation for Early Learning in Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc., raising awareness about the 501(c)(3) non-profit aimed at quality Early Childhood education.

This is no ordinary museum tour or awareness event; although it holds some of America’s rarest collectibles, it is 100 percent family friendly and 100 percent FREE for everyone.

“We keep the event free for everyone because when you start charging for services, you limit families that can come,” Jim Cook said, referring to families with multiple children or a limited budget. “Everyone should get to experience our history.”

Last year, 580 families visited Component General CEO Jim Cooks’ facility, located at 2445 Success Drive Odessa, to experience the progress of American culture and hear the history behind automobiles from 1915 to 1986.  As an additional treat, there is a collection of antique radios, cameras and other items of interest from throughout the years.

The museum opens to the public for tours on September 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. The tour offers a free afternoon of family fun, including: Free Admission Free refreshments (popcorn, ice cream, water, soda, cookies and cake)   Donations will be accepted to support the Foundation’s mission of promoting the importance of high quality Early Education within Pasco and Hernando Counties.
