New Port Richey, Florida -- For residents who have been affected by Tropical Storm Debby, the roll off dumpster has been extended. The dumpster is located at 6420 Pine Hill Road.

Items such as carpet, lawn furniture, house furniture, fence, and box springs, etc. will be accepted. Resident’s may not bring items like, computers, monitors, appliances, lawn mowers, or any hazardous waste.

The dumpster is still open throughout the rest of this week including Saturday, July 21, between the hours of 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. of next week.

Residents must show proof of City of New Port Richey residency when using the dumpster.

Residents who do not have the means of being able to dispose of damaged items from Tropical Storm Debby may call 2-1-1 from any phone in Pasco County for assistance, where you will be assigned a volunteer through United Way of Pasco County.

This service is available Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
