Pasco County, FL – According to the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections, Dade City, New Port Richey, Port Richey, San Antonio and Zephyrhills will be holding municipal elections on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Municipal elections are for voters residing within the city limits only.

Vote-by-Mail ballots for municipal elections can be requested by calling the elections' office at 800-851-8754 or by mailing a request to PO Box 300, Dade City FL  33526.  Written requests must include:

  • Your name
  • Your residence address
  • Your date of birth 
  • Your signature
  • The address where you would like the ballot mailed

Both written and telephonic requests must come from the voter, or an immediate family member or legal guardian on behalf of a voter. 

Vote-by-Mail ballot requests already on file with the elections' office have been mailed and will be mailed daily as requested through April 5, 2012.  To be counted, mail ballots must be returned to the elections' office by mail or hand delivery by 7:00 p.m. election day.  Voted mail-in ballots may not be turned in at the polls.   

Voters in these cities who wish to vote in person before Election Day may vote a ballot in their city hall now through April 9, 2012. Voters wishing to pick up a ballot for this election may do so at any of our three office locations.  Sample ballots will be published in select newspapers on Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Election results will be posted on www.pascovotes.com.  The website also provides some features that will enhance your voting experience.

  • Voters can check their registration status to see if they're registered to vote by selecting the Are You Registered link. 
  • Vote-by-mail voters can track their ballot status to see if their ballot has been mailed from our office, and then again to ensure our office received it once it's voted and returned. 

All voters going to the polls for Municipal Elections should bring photo and signature identification, or they will be required to vote a provisional ballot.
