Early voting for August 14 primary opens August 4

Pasco County Florida - Early voting for the August 14, 2012 Primary will take place at the beginning of August.

According to a release from the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections, the early voting will open on Saturday, August 4 and last through Saturday, August 11, with Sunday hours now available for voters who wish to cast their ballot early.

"Many voters utilize the option of casting their vote early at their convenience," said Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley in the release.  "The numbers of early voters will be added daily to the unofficial voter turnout on our website, www.pascovotes.com."

In order to participate, they say voters must present a photo and signature ID during early voting, or vote a provisional ballot.

Voters who are registered in another Florida county, but are now residing in Pasco, are encouraged to update their address with the elections' office prior to voting, or they will be statutorily required to vote a provisional ballot at the polls.
