PLACE to Observe Lights On Afterschool Day

Pasco County, Florida -- The Pasco County School Board’s before- and afterschool enrichment program known as PLACE will be participating in the 14th Annual Lights On Afterschool day at the Sims Park Amphitheater in New Port Richey on Thursday, October 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.       

Each October, one million Americans in more than 7,500 communities nationwide celebrate the afterschool programs that keep kids safe, inspire them to learn, and help working families.

New Port Richey, Florida -- The City of New Port Richey is partnering with the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to hold a Neighborhood Clean-Up Day on Saturday November 2, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

KNOW, a program under the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce, provides a networking forum to discuss issues affecting women in the business community in a supportive environment.

The next meeting is being held on Wednesday, October 30th from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

The guest speaker is Jodi Wilkeson, AAIA, President WDA Design Group, Inc.

Pasco County requested the return of theULI Panel to assist evaluating performance from the 2008 Panel recommendationsand to help guide Pasco with "What's Next" as we implement the Board of CountyCommissioner's vision outlined in the Strategic Plan and in the EconomicDevelopment Plan.
