Macy's Santa comes to Wiregrass tonight!

Wesley Chapel, FL -- Giving the reindeer time off for good behavior, Santa will arrive at Macy's at The Shops at Wiregrass in his shiny red tour bus. Santa welcomes one-and-all to join in the festivities at 6 p.m. tonight as reads The Night Before Christmas, visits with children of all ages and encourages everyone to put their letters to Santa in the Macy's Believe mailbox.

The Shops at Wiregrass is located on 28211 Paseo Drive in Wesley Chapel.

Holiday skating show rolling into Pasco

Pasco County, FL - SpinNations Skating Center of Port Richey will be hosting a festive holiday showcase of all the best spins, turns, and tricks of the Florida Skating Academy on the largest hardwood skating rink in the state. The Academy's annual Holiday Roller Skating Show has been a popular event in the area for more than ten years, and the 2010 installment will take place at 2:00 pm on Sunday, Dec. 12.

The two-hour event features dazzling costumes, fast-paced music, and 20 professional skaters from the world and national level. Fresh off of competition in Portugal, U.S. competitors from the World Championships, including Tabitha Clark, Meghan Boyce, and Lorenzo and Francesca Bertoglio, will be headlining the show. Additional performances will highlight local kids and senior citizen skating groups.

Tickets may be purchased at the doors, which will open at 1:00 pm.

Dade City gets battle-ready for Fort Dade Raid

Dade City, Florida - Get your gunpowder ready, because an in-depth Civil War re-enactment is heading to Dade City's Pioneer Florida Museum and Village this weekend. On Dec. 4 and 5, the battlefield will be overtaken by 200 uniformed re-enactors, to the delight of the thousands of spectators planning to attend.

Stand-ins for the cavalry, infantry, and artillery will be represented in the daily hour-long battles at 2:30 p.m., and guests can also roam through the crafts, square dancing, and storytelling areas, or grab some food from the vendors. Hot dogs, barbeque, and ice cream will all be offered.

The event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
