Jaclyn Clements, a future Habitat homeowner was out this past Saturday, Oct 29, putting siding on her home.

Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco is not a giveaway program. In addition to a monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor (sweat equity) into building their Habitat house and the houses of others.

Jaclyn is a hard-working single mother with a three year old daughter. She wants to provide a decent home for her family just like anyone else.

Recycling for Habitat

Recycling for Habitat

Habitat Pasco offers paper product, print cartridge, aluminum, and cell phone recycling programs that allows residents to earn money while helping the environment.

Used Cartridges and cell phones can take up to 1000 years to decompose in a landfill. By recycling these cartridges and cell phones, we as a community can reduce the amount that goes into the landfill and sell them to a company that will properly recycle them. What's more, for every 24 recyclable cartridges and cell phones we collect, one tree will be planted on our behalf through the American Forests Foundation.
