New Port Richey, Florida -- If you're looking to brush up on your life-saving skills, here's your chance. You could make a big difference in someone's life by learning these valuable skills and tips.

The CPR class starts on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. The class is being held at Rasmussen College located at 7660 Little Road in New Port Richey.

Registration is required. The class goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $50.

Zephyrhlls, Florida -- The Florida Hospital Zephyrhills Wellness Center is in need of new pieces of equipment.

To get the leg press, leg extension, leg curl, shoulder press, chest press, dumbbell rack and bench, stationary bikes and spinner machine Florida Hospital Zephyrhills Foundation has announced a fundraising campaign.

New Port Richey, Florida -- The Pasco County Health Department, Environmental Health Services' Office located at 7623 Little Rd., Suite 100-B Counsel Square in New Port Richey will be closing on Thursday Aug. 16, at 12:30 p.m.

The department will reopen on Monday, Aug. 20 at 8 a.m., at its new business location at the Pasco County Health Department (Fasano Shelter) Environmental Health Services 11611 Denton Ave. in Hudson.

New Port Richey, Florida -- The City of New Port Richey’s Cultural Affairs Committee is sponsoring a free guided Yoga Happy Hour in Cavalaire Square at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7.

The free Yoga hour will be led by Jackie Loudakis LMT, CYT from Flow Yoga. Donations will be accepted for the Community Restoration Initiative.

Participants are encouraged to bring yoga mats, blankets, blocks or any other items they require and water.
