Vote-by-mail ballots sent out in Pasco County

Pasco County, Florida -- Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, announced over 15,000 vote-by-mail ballots for the October 15, Special General Election have been mailed and new requests are being processed daily.

Voter turnout for those who have already returned their ballot to the elections' office will be posted daily beginning today at pascovotes.com.

Voters who reside within House District 36 may request a vote-by-mail ballot by calling the office at 800-851-8754, or online at pascovotes.com. To be counted, vote-by-mail ballots must be returned to the elections' office by mail or hand delivery by 7:00 p.m. election day. Mail ballots may not be turned in at the polls.

Voters who wish to vote in person before Election Day may vote early at the West Pasco Government Center beginning Saturday, October 5, 2013. Early voting turnout totals will also be posted hourly.

As always, voter turnout and election results, as they are available after 7:00 p.m., will be posted on-line at pascovotes.com.
