Pasco County, Florida -- Pasco County has formed the Resources and Ecosystem Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities and Revived Economies (RESTORE) Act Advisory Committee. It consists of 9 members from Pasco County from diversified backgrounds. 

Currently there exists a vacant seat on the Committee. This seat shall be filled by a resident from Pasco County with a background and experience in Marine Science, Coastal Ecology or Fisheries. The mission of the RESTORE Act Advisory Committee is to review, score and propose projects relating to the Act that have been assembled by County Staff for presentation to the Board of County Commissioners.

This is a volunteer position and a great opportunity to help shape the way Pasco applies potential funding in regards to the RESTORE Act. Members serve on the Committee for a period of two years. The next scheduled meeting is 11/7/2013 at 5:30 pm. The committee meets on the first Thursday of every month.
