Pasco Primary voter turnout to be posted online

Pasco Co., Florida-- Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, announced that voter turnout for the August 14, 2012 Primary Election will be posted daily on the elections' office website, pascovotes.com.

Site visitors may view the numbers and perceive them to be "unofficial" results of the polls.

According to the Supervisor of Elections Office, the voter turnout numbers will represent those who have returned a vote-by-mail ballot.

Beginning Saturday, August 4, 2012, early voting turnout statistics will be posted on-line as well.

West Pasco Historical Society to host Meet Our Candidates Afternoon

New Port Richey, Florida -- The West Pasco Historical Society is inviting residents to attend an old-fashioned Meet Our Candidates Afternoon on Saturday, Aug. 4.

The society has extended an invitation to all local candidates to bring a table, campaign staff and campaign materials at 1 p.m., and at 1:30, after the Chester McKay VFW Honor Guard presents the colors and The Pledge of Allegiance.

All candidates who respond to the invitation by July 31 will divide a 90-minute block of time among them to speak to the voters.

Pasco County, Florida -- Pasco County Supervisor of Elections is holding Voter Registration Book Closing Drives on Saturday, July 14. 

The drives will be held at the following locations from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

Vote-by-mail ballot requests mailed out to residents

Pasco County, Florida -- Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley announces on July 10 the office mailed over 14,000 ballots for the August 14, 2012 Primary Election to voters with requests already on file.

For eligible voters who did not previously request a ballot, they are still available upon request by calling the elections' office, by submitting the request in writing or by using the on-line request form on www.pascovotes.com.

Pasco County, Florida -- Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley announces the mass mailing of new voter information cards to all registered Pasco County voters on July 5. 

Per Florida Statutes, new information cards will be issued as a result of redistricting and will contain information regarding subsequent changes to some legislative boundaries, precincts, and polling locations.

Port Richey, Florida -- The new and improved Waterfront Park in Port Richey has taken one step closer to being realized. 

The City of Port Richey announced Monday its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board of Directors authorized Wade Trim to develop a Master Plan for Waterfront Park.

Pasco County Florida -- Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley announced Monday the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections' Office now has a mobile version of pascovotes.com for voters who quickly want to check their registration status, request a vote-by-mail ballot, or look up their precinct information.

"Getting information about voting and your registration should be easy," said Brian E. Corley in a release. "This technology will provide mobile phone users quick access at their convenience".
