Dade City, Florida  -- Kids in grades K-5 are invited to "It's a Game World" with our special guest, Miss Alicia. Have fun exploring the world's cultures by playing games!

Teens and students in grades 6-12 are invited to enjoy a karate demonstration and learn about the spirit and teachings of karate with our special guests, the instructors and students of Lakehouse Karate of St. Leo, FL.

Don't miss: 'Tales of India' storytime at Hugh Embry

Dade City, Florida -- Children ages 1-5 with parent/guardian are invited to a special Storytimes program presented by storyteller Katie Adams:  "Tales of India" ! While you're here, be sure to register your little ones for the Summer Reading Club, READ TO ME, and keep a simple list of the books you have read to your child.

If you read even one book to your child each night, in about 3 weeks you'll have the 20 books needed to be invited to the special party in early August!

All library programs are supported by our generous Friends of Hugh Embry Library. More details on the program are below:

Dade City, FL -- Al sings and performs on the tenor and soprano saxes everything from "Tequila" to "Unforgettable". It's a fun variety of music.

Zephyrhills, FL -- Pianist Walter Billingsly brings a fascinating and reminiscent look into the past with music.

His program "Americana" is a toe-tappin', hand clappin', get 'em in the patriotic spirit program that features a collection of classic American melodies from 1800-1920.

The concert is on Friday, June 10 at 3:45 p.m.

Sen. Fasano to discuss legislative highlights with Pasco homeowners

State Senator Mike Fasano will discuss the just-completed state legislative session in Tallahassee when he addresses the Pasco Alliance of Community Associations' monthly meeting beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9. 

The public is invited to attend the PACA meeting. It begins at 7 p.m. at the Land O’ Lakes Community Center, located at 5401 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. (US 41), three miles north of SR 54.

Senator Fasano of New Port Richey will discuss new legislation affecting homeowner groups and landowners, as well as budgetary priorities and policies that affect all Floridians. He will also focus on insurance legislation and measures to deal with "pill mills" that improperly dispense prescription medications. He will answer questions from PACA members and the public following his remarks.

Railroad Square opens in New Port Richey

New Port Richey, Florida -- The project is finally complete!

The City of New Port Richey will hold a public ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24 to honor the opening of the completed Railroad Square.

The Mayor and City Council are anticipated to attend, as well as representatives from the community.

Also in attendance will be Sherman Applegate, Director of the New Port Richey Public Works Department.
