Old School Teen Night!

Land O' Lakes, Florida -- Attention teens!

Friday September 6, from 6 p.m. to  9 p.m., head to the Land O' Lakes library for some good old fashioned fun!

Join teens grades 6 - 12 for an evening of gaming of all types. They have the latest systems and games, including PS3, Xbox 360 Kinect, Wii U, Rock Band 3, Black Ops 2, Dance Central 3, Halo 4, and lots more.

There even are old school board games like Twister and lots of free tables to hang out and chat with your friends.

Free soda, chips, and cookies are always served and admission is free, too!

Land O' Lakes, Florida- The Land O' Lakes Little League will be signing up for the Fall 2013 Baseball and Softball Season.

Registration ends August 31 for players, however those interested in managing or coaching a team must register by August 24.

 Land O' Lakes, Florida -- Hundreds of people gathered at the Land O' Lakes Recreation complex for the kickoff of the Pasco Police Athletic League (PPAL) Cheerleading and Football Season.

There were a lot of fun activities at the family-friendly event, but the most exciting part for many children was the opportunity to dunk their coach in the Dunk Tank!!

Pasco County, Florida -- Are you a bike rider? Do you have opinions about the off-road bike trails?

Come learn about plans to design and establish low impact off-road trails to accommodate off-road bike riders as well as other users. 

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 21 at the Environmental Education Center in the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park. 

The park is located at 10500 Wilderness Park Boulevard, New Port Richey.

Pasco County, Florida -- The Annual Kumquat Festival has once again ben awared a "Top 20 Event" status for the Southeast United States by the Southeast Tourism Society. 

The 17th annual Kumquat Festival will be held on January 25. Over 40,000 attendees, 430 vendors adn 40 sponsorship partners participate in this unique, fun, old Florida cultural even celebrating "the little gold gem of the citrus industry."

Pasco Police Athletic League Football and Cheerleading camp

Pasco County, Florida -- The 2nd Annual Pasco police Athletic League (PPAL) football and cheer camp has been scheduled for Saturday, July 20 at Arthur Engle Park.

The camp is open to any child ages 4-13 who are interested in developing their football or cheerleading skills.  Although the camp is sponsored by PPAL, youths do not have to be members of the league in order to attend.
