Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament was a success

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL – Driving, slicing, putting and lots of swinging was the order of the day when golfers put in an all-out effort to help Habitat recently. Tampa Electric Company, Verizon, Providence at Zephyr Ridge, and Lloyd Pest Control sponsored a charity golf tournament at Silverado Golf & Country Club on September 24 benefiting Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco County.

“It was a beautiful day for golf and the course was gorgeous nestled around huge oak trees. We had a great turnout, everyone that came out seemed to have a wonderful time, and each person was very generous. Habitat appreciates each and every sponsor, golfer, and Silverado Golf & Country Club for hosting and organizing this event” said Stephanie Bracknell Black, director of development & public relations, Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco County.
